Find Help, Find Hope!

Welcome New NAMI Volunteer Coordinator

It is my pleasure to announce our new Volunteer Coordinator, AimieLisa Hook. As the largest grassroots organization it is awesome to have a dedicated staff member to assists volunteers. Volunteers are the life force of NAMI’s programs; they are facilitators, teachers, resource coordinators, and mentors. We welcome AimieLisa and look forward to having her here at NAMI Lane County. AimieLisa grew up in North Carolina but is excited to be experiencing the dynamic culture of Eugene.  She has her M.A. in Intercultural Youth and Family Development with a focus in Nonprofit Management from the University of Montana and her B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina. AimieLisa has spent the last eight years working in the field of human services both nationally and internationally. In her spare time she practices with Samba Ja, goes for hikes, ecstatic dances, travels, and eats delicious food. She is a passionate believer in equal rights for all human beings and an optimistic feminist.
Please stop in the NAMI Resource Center to meet AimieLisa or send her an email at
